The Watchful Eye of Harrison County, Indiana is dedicated to keeping an EYE on how your tax dollars are being spent by your elected Commissioners and the County Council of Harrison County Indiana.

The Watchful Eye understands that it is not always convenient to attend the bi-monthly meetings for the Commissioners and County Council. Many topics are discussed at these meetings and many meetings run beyond the two hour window set aside for the meeting duration. The local press doesn’t have the resources and bandwidth to print all that transpires during and after the meetings. The Watchful Eye wants to help the citizens of Harrison County view the meeting content online and also clarify facts and financial information with the mission of increasing the fiscal transparency in our local government.

The Watchful Eye encourages the residents of Harrison County to attend the Commissioner Meetings and County Council Meetings in person. If however, you are unable to attend these meetings in person then we hope you will utilize our site to stay informed and involved in the legislative and fiscal decisions made by the leadership of Harrison County Government.

A high speed Internet connection is recommended although we have tried to present the videos in a format that allows all viewers the opportunity to view the meeting videos.
